Sunday - June 27, 2010 - "Afternoon in the Admiral's Garden": Join Jan for a sugar arts demonstration with a tropical theme at the 10th Annual Contra Costa Solano Foodbank Fundraiser and Auction. Saturday - February 20, 2010 - Fairytale Dresses Cookie Class and Tea - 10 am - 2 pm: Learn to make elaborate Fairytale cookie dresses out of fondant. Lots of luster dust, sparkles, pearls and surprises. Tea and refreshments will be served. The cost is $80.00 per person. Class size is limited. Saturday/Sunday - April 17 - 18, 2010 - Gumpaste Tulip Class: Learn to make these remarkable flowers in this two-day class, along with other spring flowers. Previous gumpaste experience required. Not recommended for beginners. Class hours are 9 am - 3 pm on Saturday and from 10 am to 1 pm on Sunday. Cost is $175.00. Class size is limited. Saturday - April 24, 2010 - Freehand and Brush Embroidery Class: These techniques, done in Royal icing, can add a delicate design to your cakes and cookies. In our hands-on, three-hour class, you will learn the steps needed to create this elegant look. No prior experience is required. Cost $48.00 -
